A former Ropes & Gray partner has filed a discrimination lawsuit against the firm, claiming age and sex bias (See Complaint).
Patricia Martone, 63, now a partner in the patent litigation practice at Morrison & Foerster, filed suit in the Southern District of New York on March 22. She alleges that Ropes & Gray undermined her by reassigning her clients to younger, male partners before firing her in retaliation for her complaints to firm leadership.
