The Louisiana State University Paul M. Herbert Law Center has received its largest gift to date from a living donor.

The school announced on Friday that it will receive $600,000 from the Nesser family — John T. Nesser III, chief operating officer and executive vice president of McDermott International Inc.; his son, J.T. Nesser IV, a partner at Houston-based Porter Hedges; and his daughter, Tulane University Law School career counselor Amanda Nesser Moeller. All three Nessers received J.D.s from LSU law.
