ALBANY – The wife of a teacher incarcerated for sexually abusing eight of his first-grade students is challenging in the Court of Appeals a decision that grants her ex-husband periodic visits from their 5-year-old daughter.

The Court has asked for papers by today on an order to show cause why a prohibition should continue against Christopher Culver seeing his daughter pending appeal of the Appellate Division, Third Department, ruling last month.
