Mark S. Mulholland, a corporate law specialist and managing partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale, has been appointed by state Senate Majority Leader Dean G. Skelos, R-Rockville Centre, to the state Commission on Judicial Compensation. Mr. Skelos is of counsel to Ruskin Moscou Faltischek. Mr. Mulholland is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School who served as a judge advocate general’s officer in the U.S. Army before entering private practice in 1991.

The commission was established by the Legislature and Governor David A. Paterson last year to recommend a salary-increase schedule for the state’s 1,300 judges, who have not had a raise since 1999.
