The jury in the Zvi Goffer insider trading case is expected to begin deliberating today after hearing summations from all sides and Southern District Judge Richard J. Sullivan’s charge on the law. The government rested its case yesterday and neither Mr. Goffer nor co-defendants Emanuel Goffer and Michael Kimelman chose to testify. William R. Barzee, attorney for Zvi Goffer, elected not to present a defense, while lawyers for Mr. Kimelman and Emanuel Goffer put on evidence for only a brief period before resting.
