McDermott Will & Emery will relocate senior Brussels antitrust partner Frank Schoneveld to its Chinese alliance firm, The Am Law Daily has learned. Schoneveld will join the Shanghai-based MWE China Law Offices, which operates through an exclusive referral relationship with McDermott, on May 30.
MWE China launched in January 2007 with two partners from Shanghai-based Allbright Law Offices in an attempt to help McDermott overcome regulatory hurdles that prevent international firms from practicing Chinese law.
