• Christopher M. Hart, special counsel in the Long Island office of Goldberg Segalla, has been elected a member of the board of directors of the Defense Association of New York.

• The American Bar Association Law Practice Management Section has announced that Gary A. Munneke, a professor at Pace Law School and former chair of section, has been selected to receive the Samuel S. Smith Award for “excellence in law practice management.”
