• Judith S. Kaye, New York’s former chief judge, has been selected as honoree of the year by the National Association of Women Judges. The award will be presented to Ms. Kaye, now of counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, at the association’s annual banquet on Oct. 15 in Newark, N.J.
• Steven Tiscione has been appointed an acting deputy chief in the narcotics section, criminal division, of the Eastern District U.S. Attorney’s Office. He joined the office in 2005 and has served in the general crimes, narcotics and international narcotics strike force sections.
