Two upstate drug offenders whose bid for resentencing was denied because they had violated their parole have been given another chance to seek a reduction in their term as the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, reversed the trial courts.
The appellate court’s holdings Friday in People v. Wallace, 10-01441, from Monroe County, and People v. Jenkins, 10-02511, from Onondaga County, are consistent with a June 28 opinion by the Court of Appeals.
