A divorcing wife may face a hearing to determine if she should be sanctioned for allegedly taking documents related to her case from the desk of an associate for her husband’s attorney, a Long Island judge has ruled.
Supreme Court Justice Anthony J. Falanga in Nassau County (See Profile) recently ruled that following completion of a trial to set aside a pre-nuptial agreement, plaintiff wife, E.C.-P., could face a hearing to determine whether she looked through confidential work product during a June meeting and if sanctions were warranted.
