Philadelphia-based Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy has acquired four transactional lawyers from the Philadelphia office of Maryland-based Offit Kurman, saying increased work in that practice area over the last few months has necessitated the growth.

James L. Pearl, Paul W. Baskowsky and Neil Rubin, all of whom were principals at Offit Kurman, have joined Zarwin Baum as shareholders in the firm’s business practice group.
