An Upper East Side five-story mixed-use building at 1356 First Ave., at the northeast corner of 73rd Street, has been acquired by Griffon 1356, an affiliate of DelShah Capital, for $9.125 million. The property had been listed at $12 million and the seller was Rospo Realty.
The purchase price included the 19,840-square-foot property with 26 one-bedroom units, ground floor retail space and air rights of 25,200 square feet. DelShah plans to add two more floors atop the building. The ground floor is occupied by the commercial tenant, Petaluma Restaurant.
