• Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has added two partners. Rod Miller, who focuses on public and private high yield debt offerings in the context of complex acquisition financings and leveraged buyouts, joined the global securities group. He was a partner and co-head of the capital markets practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. And Mark Mandel, who represents clients in domestic, cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions, financings, private equity and restructuring transactions, has joined the global corporate group. He was a partner at White & Case and chair of its Canadian practice group.
• Morgan, Lewis & Bockius has added Bradley Edmister, who is experienced in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in Japan and elsewhere in Asia, as a partner in its business and finance practice. Mr. Edmister, who returns to New York after spending the past decade living and working in Tokyo, was with Ropes & Gray. Also, Lloyd H. Feller, the former executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Jefferies Group Inc. and Jefferies & Company Inc., has returned to Morgan Lewis as senior counsel in the investment management and securities industry practice. He originally joined the firm in 1979.
