The New York County Lawyers’ Association honored seven attorneys for their public service on Tuesday at a reception at the bar group’s Vesey Street headquarters.

Above, from left, are honorees Tanya Douglas, director, Disabilities Advocacy Project, Manhattan Legal Services; William D. Gibney, director, special litigation unit, criminal practice, Legal Aid Society; Jane Greengold Stevens, director, litigation, New York Legal Assistance Group; Rebecca C. Martin, deputy chief, civil frauds unit, Southern District U.S. Attorney’s Office; Alan W. Sputz, deputy division chief, Family Court Division, Law Department; and Barbara Zolot, senior supervising attorney, Center for Appellate Litigation. With them are Court of Appeals Judge Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick, who was the keynote speaker, and Catherine A. Christian, chair of the public service awards committee and counsel in the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.
