After 85 years on Madison Avenue, Young & Rubicam Group (Y&R), a subsidiary of WPP plc, will relocate its Manhattan headquarters. The advertising and communications giant will be the anchor tenant at 3 Columbus Circle, or 1775 Broadway. Y&R and several other WPP network companies will be leaving WPP-owned 285 Madison Ave.

“If Madison Avenue represented our industry’s noble past in New York, our new neighborhood is about its future,” David Sable, Young & Rubicam’s global chief executive officer, said in a statement. “It’s exciting, and totally relevant to what we do, to be thrust into one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the city.”
