SCARSDALE AVENUE HISTORIC LP v. ROMANO In this summary proceeding, landlord Scarsdale Avenue Historic LP (Scarsdale) of One Scarsdale Road in Tuckahoe sought $10,236.13 for unpaid rent, electricity, a late charge and legal fees from tenants Jerome and Karen Simeone Romano (the Romanos). The Romanos counterclaimed for $3,000 for fraud, misrepresentation, breach of warranty and breach of contract. During trial, Scarsdale reduced its demand by $500 ($400 in rent and $100 for the late charge) to $9,736.13.
