Phillips Nizer has added Denise J. D’Ambrosio as counsel in its environmental and land use and government relations practices. Ms. D’Ambrosio, a former in-house counsel to the New York Power Authority and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, had her own practice in White Plains before joining the firm.

Kaufman Dolowich Voluck & Gonzo has hired Caroline Kennedy as of counsel in the insurance practice. Ms. Kennedy comes to New York via London, where she was with CMS Cameron McKenna. She focuses on the defense of professional liability, directors and officers liability, insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation.
