The Task Force on Commercial Litigation convened by Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman in February may have a lot on its plate, but Lippman says that recommendations for improvements to the busy court could be ready as early as August or September.
While the task force set a target of up to one year to produce a report on everything from streamlining procedures to appointing a new set of judges, the group hopes to combine feedback from its five subcommittees and present recommendations after about six months (NYLJ, Feb. 22).
