Labor and employment law firm Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart has opened a New York office with eight attorneys, including two partners and five associates from Seyfarth Shaw. Edward Cerasia II, a former Seyfarth partner who focuses on employment litigation, will serve as managing shareholder of the office. Anjanette Cabrera, also an employment litigator and a former senior associate at Seyfarth, will be a shareholder at Ogletree. The five associates joining them from Seyfarth are Hema Chatlani, Allison Ianni, Aaron Warshaw, Caitlin Senff and Maayan Deker.

Employment litigator Cheryl Stanton, a current shareholder at Ogletree, and Patrick DiDomenico, Ogletree’s director of knowledge management, will join the group. Formerly based in Morristown, N.J., the two will relocate to the New York office.
