Three sons of Robert Morvillo, a leader of the white-collar criminal defense bar who died in December, will be leaving their positions as counsel to Morvillo, Abramowitz, Grand, Iason, Anello & Bohrer to start a boutique law office focusing on white-collar criminal defense and SEC regulatory actions. Gregory, Scott and Robert Morvillo will open Morvillo LLP on May 1. Their father was one of the founders of Morvillo Abramowitz in 1973.

The trio will be joined by their uncle, Richard Morvillo, who was a partner at Schulte Roth & Zabel and practices in Washington, D.C., and New York. A fourth son, Christopher, will remain a partner at Clifford Chance.
