The failure of non-invasive therapy to restore to competence a man accused of a multi-year mortgage fraud scheme has led a federal judge to order forced anti-psychotic medication.

Osmond Decoteau, the alleged mastermind of a fraud that cheated banks out of more than $20 million, had refused to cooperate with “talk therapy” to overcome his delusional disorder enough to make him fit for trial in Brooklyn federal court.
