John Doar, senior counsel at Doar Rieck Kaley & Mack, last week received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, for his public service in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Justice Department in the 1960s and as special counsel to the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary in the investigation of Watergate and the subsequent impeachment hearings.
James Sottile, a Washington, D.C.-based partner and executive committee member of Zuckerman Spaeder, is relocating to the firm’s New York office. His practice includes commercial litigation with an emphasis on bankruptcy and insurance matters.
