With its employees now on notice that they could be terminated, Dewey & LeBoeuf is still exploring a variety of options for alliances with other law firms, a consultant hired by the firm said yesterday. Operating on its own is a tougher possibility, he added.
William Brandt, president of Development Specialists Inc., a consulting firm that often advises bankrupt law firms and their estates, said that Dewey hired his firm for financial advice and other services about a month ago.
