Continuing its commitment to Times Square, Viacom Inc. has signed a lease renewal with SL Green Realty Corp. to expand its headquarters at 1515 Broadway. The 54-story, more than 2 million-square-foot Broadway tower, also known as One Astor Plaza, is located between West 44th and West 45th streets.
The new lease will expand the space occupied by the global media company to 1.6 million square feet from 1.4 million. The latest renewal is due to expire in 2031.
