Mayer Brown (Chicago): David Stewart joins the firm’s real estate practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on real estate finance matters, with a focus on secured lending and loans in the secondary market. Previously, Stewart was a partner at Latham & Watkins. Additionally, Barbara Goodstein joins the firm’s banking and finance practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on commercial and structured financing as well as restructuring of transactions for a wide range of asset types. Previously, Goodstein was a partner at Dewey & LeBoeuf.
Choate, Hall & Stewart (Boston): William Haulbrook joins the firm’s intellectual property group as partner and will focus on procurement and enforcement of IP rights, with an emphasis on strategic development of U.S. and foreign patent portfolios, patent infringement and validity opinions, and IP due diligence. Previously, Haulbrook was a partner at Goodwin Procter.
