Three former Jones Day partners have joined Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, boosting the firm’s New York pharmaceutical litigation team. Dominic Cerrito, formerly co-head of Jones Day’s pharmaceutical group, and Eric Stops have joined Quinn as partners, while Evangeline Shih will be of counsel. All three focus on intellectual property disputes in the pharmaceutical industry. Quinn has about 12 partners and of counsel in its life sciences litigation practice in New York, according to its website.
Cerrito said he has been familiar with Quinn since interviewing with the firm about nine years ago and has been involved in cases with Quinn attorneys, either as co-counsel or as opposing counsel, over the years.
