ESTATE OF SAMUEL GOLDEN, A/K/A ABRAHAM S. GOLDEN, A/K/A ABRAHAM SAMUEL GOLDEN — This is an uncontested proceeding for judicial settlement of final account by the Public Administrator of the Kings County (the PA) as temporary administrator of the estate of Samuel Golden, a/k/a Abraham S. Golden, a/k/a Abraham Samuel Golden (Golden), an absentee. The PA filed the instant petition on June 22, 2011, seeking i) a declaration that Golden died on May 21, 2008, ii) a determination that all of Golden’s interest in his property should cease and terminate, iii) a direction that his estate should be distributed to such person or persons who are entitled thereto by law, and iv) a determination of the rights of Golden or any other person in any contractual or property rights contingent upon his death in the same manner as provided in EPTL §2-1.7. Jurisdiction over all interested parties has been obtained, and no objections have been filed to the instant petition. There has been no appearance by Golden, and the guardian ad litem appointed on his behalf has submitted his report, as supplemented, recommending that the relief requested by the PA be granted.1
