Following the lead of a recent appellate decision, a federal judge on Sept. 14 restored a huge swath of claims against JPMorgan Chase.

Eastern District Judge Edward Korman (See Profile) ruled that investors most likely have standing to sue JPMorgan over 30 out of 33 MBS issuing trusts, with a combined face value of nearly $40 billion, named in a 2010 securities fraud complaint.
