Anna Gristina, the woman dubbed by tabloids as the “Soccer Mom Madam,” pleaded guilty yesterday to promoting prostitution. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan (See Profile) said Gristina, who was arrested in February, would be sentenced on Nov. 20 to six months in jail and five years of probation. But she is not expected to serve jail time for the class D felony because of time spent this year at Rikers after the judge set her bail at $2 million.

Merchan warned Scotland-born Gristina, who lives in Orange County, that she may be deported as a result of the guilty plea. Gristina’s attorney, Norman Pattis, said his client understood the risk. Gristina’s trial was scheduled for next month.
