ESTATE OF ELEANOR HAWLEY, Deceased (2013/177) — Since July 2012, this Court has received numerous correspondences, sworn statements, and documentation from William Hawley, a child of the late Eleanor Hawley of Richmond County, New York. Mr. Hawley alleges that undue influence was exerted over Eleanor Hawley while she was alive that ultimately caused various assets to pass outside of her estate. In the interests of justice, this Court deems the communications from Mr. Hawley as an application to appoint an eligible individual to investigate the actions of his sisters, Roxanne Tagliavia and Elissa Cortolillo, regarding property owned by Eleanor Hawley.

ESTATE OF ELEANOR HAWLEY, Deceased (2013/177) — Since July 2012, this Court has received numerous correspondences, sworn statements, and documentation from William Hawley, a child of the late Eleanor Hawley of Richmond County, New York. Mr. Hawley alleges that undue influence was exerted over Eleanor Hawley while she was alive that ultimately caused various assets to pass outside of her estate. In the interests of justice, this Court deems the communications from Mr. Hawley as an application to appoint an eligible individual to investigate the actions of his sisters, Roxanne Tagliavia and Elissa Cortolillo, regarding property owned by Eleanor Hawley.

The Court hereby directs the Public Administrator to petition for limited letters of administration, limited to making inquiry into the aforementioned actions and to determine whether a formal proceeding to discover and/or recover assets of the Estate of Eleanor Hawley should be commenced.
