ESTATE OF EDRIS AURORA SILSTON, ALSO KNOWN AS EDRIS SILSTON, Deceased (3054/12) — This is a proceeding by a niece of the decedent and the niece's designee, for ancillary probate of the decedent's will dated September 24, 2009 which was admitted to probate by the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court In the High Court of Justice, Antigua and Barbuda, the decedent's alleged domicile, and for the issuance of joint ancillary letters of administration c.t.a. The petitioning niece was appointed personal representative by that court in the place and stead of the nominated executor who predeceased the decedent, and the designee is her uncle who is domiciled in New York. The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance consents to the relief requested in accordance with the terms of a filed written stipulation. It appears that the decedent possessed an interest in real property located in Bronx County upon which the will may operate. Accordingly, the will is entitled to be admitted to ancillary probate (see SCPA 1602) and ancillary letters of administration c.t.a. shall issue to the petitioners jointly (see SCPA 707 [1] [c]; 1604; 1608).
