In a push to give its students hands-on experience and increased job opportunities, New York Law School is adding 13 clinics this fall, many integrated with New York City government offices.
New York Law’s announcement is the latest example of law schools ramping up their curriculum in the face of criticism that students are not developing enough practical skills, are unprepared to find jobs in a tough market, and that the traditional third year of law school is a waste of time.
