Norman Sheresky, a prominent divorce attorney and former president of the New York chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, died Oct. 19 from pneumonia, said his wife, Elaine Lewis. He was 85.
Sheresky was known for his high-profile clients, including Peter Cook, an ex-husband of model Christie Brinkley; and the ex-wives of actors James Gandolfini, Dustin Hoffman and Robert Duvall.
