Kagan, who served as solicitor general from 2009 to 2010, was joined in a panel discussion by two other former solicitors general, Drew S. Days III (1993-1996) and Paul Clement (2004-2008). The event was sponsored by the Historical Society of the New York State Courts and the Supreme Court Historical Society.
