Ronald Richter, commissioner of New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services, has been nominated to serve a second stint as a Family Court judge, one of four judicial nominations that will be subject to public comment at a hearing this month before the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on the Judiciary.

Richter served as a judge in Queens before his appointment by Mayor Michael Bloomberg as ACS commissioner in September 2011 (NYLJ, July 28, 2011). Bloomberg is leaving office at the end of the year.
