Levine Lee, a white-collar defense and commercial litigation boutique, has hired as a partner Jillian Berman, who previously served nine years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District.
Berman, 39, was a member of the securities and commodities fraud task force as a federal prosecutor. She led the prosecution at trial and on appeal on the insider trading case of Doug Whitman, of Whitman Capital hedge fund, who was convicted in August 2012. His appeal is pending before Second Circuit.
