Veteran Manhattan prosecutors Leroy Frazer Jr. and Coleen Balbert are joining the newly-minted administration of Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson as chief of staff and chief of sex crimes, respectively.

Frazer, executive assistant district attorney for external affairs in the New York County District Attorney’s Office, has worked for the Manhattan prosecutor since 1980. He began as an assistant district attorney in the trial division, handling street crime cases ranging from larcenies to homicides.
