A team of lawyers in the state Attorney General’s Office will receive a national “best brief award” for an amicus submitted in a U.S. Supreme Court case this term.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s staff will be honored next month by the National Association of Attorneys General for a brief submitted in Harris v. Quinn, 110681, an important labor law case on whether forcing Illinois state workers to pay union dues violates their First Amendment rights.
