• Yvan-Claude Pierre, a Reed Smith partner, has been appointed practice group leader of 145-attorney Reed Smith’s U.S. corporate and securities group. Pierre is head of the firm’s U.S. Capital Markets Group. The former practice group leader was Philadephia-based partner Paul Jaskot.
• Goldberg Segalla has hired Jeffrey Migdalen as special counsel in its Garden City office. He is a member of the firm’s general liability practice group. Previously, he was an associate with Rivkin Radler in Uniondale.
