Jabbar Collins, whose murder conviction was vacated after he was incarcerated for 16 years, settled his unjust conviction and imprisonment suit against New York State Thursday for $3 million.
Collins’ attorney, Joel Rudin of Manhattan, and the state Attorney General’s Office submitted the proposed settlement to Court of Claims Judge Faviola Soto.
