The Managing Attorneys and Clerks Association Inc. has elected Maura McLoughlin, the managing attorney with Cahill Gordon & Reindel, as the association’s next president. The group’s board also elected Ira Wiener, of Shearman & Sterling, as vice president; Timothy Beeken, of Debevoise & Plimpton, as treasurer; and John Bové, of Dickstein Shapiro, as secretary.
Joseph Moreno, special counsel at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, has been appointed as a consultant to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s newly-formed 9/11 Review Commission. He will assist the commission in its mandate to evaluate the FBI’s performance in addressing the threat of domestic and international terrorism.
