With less than a week before the primary election, the Democratic Party’s standard-bearers in the race for governor and lieutenant governor are far ahead of their challengers in the money race.

Reports filed late last week with the state Board of Elections show that incumbent Gov. Andrew Cuomo is sitting on $30.6 million while his primary opponent, Fordham law professor Zephyr Teachout, has a balance of about $323,945 in her campaign account.
