The New York City Bar Association has launched a training and mentoring program with 74 new law school graduates who have access to resume workshops, CLEs, legal training and career counseling.

The New Lawyer Institute is the first initiative to launch from the city bar’s Task Force on New Lawyers in a Changing Profession, which focused on the plight of new, unemployed lawyers. The task force last year announced several pilot projects that address gaps in training and education of lawyers.
