Stephen Juris, a partner of white-collar defense boutique Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello, has left to join Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson as a partner in its commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense and securities enforcement practices.
Juris, who began at Morvillo Abramowitz in 2002 and rose to partner in 2006, has spent much of his time there representing clients in government investigations tied to collateralized debt obligations, or CDOs. Juris also was part of the defense team that convinced federal prosecutors to drop fraud charges against David Stockman, former budget director in the Reagan White House and CEO of an auto parts maker.
