Catherine Christian’s longtime service with the New York County Lawyers’ Association has dovetailed with her career as a Manhattan prosecutor.

As the new chief of the Manhattan District Attorney Office’s elder abuse unit overseeing 20 dedicated prosecutors as well as meeting one-on-one with victims, Christian can continue the advocacy for senior citizens that she pursued as NYCLA’s president in 2007-2008, through a pro bono program helping guardians of elderly individuals with legal paperwork and other matters.
