While much pro bono work puts attorneys in courtrooms or working behind the scenes with nonprofits, David Sherman found a different niche—using his legal expertise to help startups and small businesses.
Among his projects, Sherman is helping a Haitian immigrant launch a line of natural beauty products, and he obtained a license to use the Ramones’ classic “Rockaway Beach” in a radio ad drumming up business for the seaside community battered by Hurricane Sandy.
