Plaintiffs attempting to win sanctions and gain an advantage at an upcoming trial over terrorist attacks by the Palestine Liberation Organization have been rebuffed by a federal magistrate judge.
Southern District Magistrate Judge Ronald Ellis (See Profile) has denied sanctions sought by family members and representatives of the estates of people killed and injured in seven separate terror attacks in Jerusalem. Lawyers for the plaintiffs claimed the PLO and the Palestinian Authority have been withholding critical documents in the case—Sokolow v. Palestine Liberation Organization, 04-cv-397.
