Gilberto Valle, who a judge cleared of allegations that he was a “cannibal cop,” will nevertheless have to stay away from fetish websites and continue mental health counseling as conditions of supervised release imposed by a federal judge Wednesday.
Southern District Judge Paul Gardephe (See Profile) said Valle will have a program installed on his computer that will recognize key words and images and inform probation officers whether Valle is accessing the type of fetish websites where he met other men and discussed abducting, assaulting and consuming women.
