“Rosie,” the part pit bull, part boxer, and her owner Stephanie Aaron have won a reprieve in the Southern District, as Judge Edgardo Ramos (See Profile) issued a temporary restraining order barring their eviction.

The Southern District U.S. Attorney’s office sought the order in connection with a 2013 discrimination action against East River Housing, a 1,700-unit co-op on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where Aaron and Rosie live.
