A litigator has been sanctioned $20,000 for continuing to press a frivolous action against an arbitrator on behalf of a client disappointed with a ruling.
For nearly a year, William Flynn of McCabe & Flynn pursued a lawsuit against Stephanie Cohen and arbitration provider International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), despite repeated warnings that the claims were barred and they would seek sanctions.
